Little River Studios had the pleasure of being involved in both of the groups CD's, their debut "xiluba" and the lastest "make a differnce". Ghalik Jacobs, recording engineer and producer from Little River Studios took time out from life to record the demo for "xiluba" in 2001 and 2003 co-produced the album with frank paco amd Muriel Marco.
Then in 2006 Ghalik recorded "make a differnce". Both CD's were recorded at Beach Road Studios, SABC, Cape Town using Protools HD and an assortment of vintage mics mainly Neumanns. The album was tracked rythm section first, then vocals and overdubs. According to Ghalik, "Make a difference" took about thirteen days to record and as many days to mix and master.

"A day was usually 12 hours and the last few days we hardly slept", says Ghalik, "There was no time to chill....the music has an enormous amount of instrumentation and sounds that there was no time to mess, studio time is costly, especially with indie groups such as TUCAN TUCAN. When you listen to the CD's you will know what I mean."
