South Side Society is the pairing of two of Cape Town 's most prolific and hard working DJ's – Roy Block and Clint Hill.   Understanding that merely playing the music is not enough, Clint and Roy launched South Side Society to showcase not only their burgeoning DJ talents but also their gritty new production skills which they have been developing with the help of engineer

All this is being propelled forward by constant developments in music technology and one can only imagine the phenomenal results when music making and DJ-ing fuse. Both Clint and Roy boast an enviable track record within the clubbing and nightlife industry and have held residencies at some of South Africa 's most esteemed venues. They are both seasoned and professional event managers both having put together some of this county's most successful and scintillating parties.

As a team they have access to one of the largest networks in the country enabling them to draw upon the finest DJ's, artists, designers and other service providers to turn each event into an astounding success. They also have access to a large database and various other effective marketing tools to ensure stellar event attendance by South Africa 's discerning clubbing cognoscenti. As DJ's, Clint and Roy cannot be pigeonholed and are comfortable in unveiling their skill in any setting. They have a fresh; vibrant and exciting sound which has endeared them to many dancers; fellow DJ's and club owners. South Side Society commands the unstinting respect of their peers and with their move into music production their acclaim looks set to exceed the boundaries of South Africa.
