CONFESSIONS OF A GAMBLER
Confessions of a Gambler is a South African story revolving around a pious woman whose gambling addiction leads her down a road travelled by many. Produced in Cape Town by Rogue Star Films, the music was the responsiblilty of Ghalik Jacobs of Little River Studios based in Cape Town.

The film was released in April 2008. The brief to Ghalik was to source local music suitable for the movie and to compose specific music pieces for scenes in the movie.
Ghalik invited Muriel Marco(Tucan Tucan) to assist with composing the pieces and with a crazy three week deadline they produced a score that won a Golden Horn at the South African Film and Television Awards in February 2009.

The additional musicians who contributed their skills were Tony Paco (drums and percussion), Patrick O Ryan (piano and keys), Rashaad Voegt (vocals) and Ivan Masuze (flute).
